This was not merely the beginning of a school— it was the fulfillment of a teacher’s lifelong devotion to education.
SVS Bal Bharti Public School, Ambala City was established with the firm belief that education is the highest form of service to society. The foundation of the school is based on the values and ideals of Late Baldev Raj Shastri Ji, who devoted his entire life to the field of education.
After his retirement, when most people choose a life of rest, Shri Baldev Raj Shastri Ji decided to continue serving society through education. On 1st April 1987, guided by strong values and dedication, he founded this school with a clear vision—to create an institution where academic excellence is combined with India’s cultural values and moral principles.
For him, teaching was not just a profession but a lifelong responsibility. He strongly believed that the purpose of education is not only to earn a livelihood, but to develop a meaningful and disciplined life. He worked continuously to shape young minds, build character, and prepare students to become responsible and caring citizens.
On 14th November 2017, Shri Baldev Raj Shastri Ji attained eternal peace, leaving behind a lasting legacy of values, dedication, and service to education. Although he is no longer physically present, his ideals and blessings continue to guide the school in all its efforts.
Today, the present management and teachers carry forward the institution with the same ethics, dedication, and sense of responsibility that he stood for. They remain committed to upholding his vision and ensuring continuous growth and excellence.
